Serie AWon1:0
Atletico Paranaense
MirassolWhy this pick: Although Mirassol are considered a tough and competitive side and have already proven it more than once, I still lean toward another home victory here. The hosts look very confident when playing in front of their fans, while the visitors remain inconsistent, alternating wins with defeats.
Segunda DivisiónLost1:0
AD Ceuta FC
AlbaceteWhy this pick: Ceuta show decent home output, scoring regularly but also conceding at a steady rate, which makes their matches fairly open. Their mid-table position reflects overall stability without strong defensive control. Albacete arrive in excellent form with four consecutive wins and a clear improvement in attacking production, scoring multiple goals in recent matches and creating many chances. With no strong motivation pressure for either side, the game is more likely to be open and balanced, with both teams capable of contributing to the scoreline.
Premier LeagueLost0:1
Arsenal
Dinamo MinskWhy this pick: Despite two heavy defeats in a row — 0:3 against ML Vitebsk and 0:3 against Dinamo Brest — Arsenal’s performances were better than the scorelines suggest. Against ML Vitebsk, the reigning champions and current league leaders, Arsenal even looked stronger statistically at times. They also created chances against Brest but lacked finishing. Now they face Dinamo Minsk, a team that plays more openly and leaves spaces in defense. Dinamo have already conceded against weaker opponents this season and do not look as solid defensively as the previous two rivals. Arsenal play brave attacking football with an aggressive style and have already scored 12 goals in 9 matches, which is a solid number for a mid-table side. I believe they can finally score again here after two scoreless matches. Over 2.5 goals also looks like an interesting option.
Why this pick: In Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Final, Montreal rode the momentum of their win over Buffalo and blew out Carolina, but they quickly ran out of energy afterwards. The Canadiens spent a lot of effort in the previous two rounds, where they managed to overcome strong opponents, but eventually the team simply had nothing left in the tank. Moreover, Montreal have shown a clear negative trend from game to game: a double overtime loss in Game 2, another overtime loss in Game 3, and a 0–4 shutout defeat in regulation in Game 4. The Canadiens also lack offensive volume — Suzuki, Slafkovsky, and Caufield are forced into more defensive roles, which has significantly reduced their shot production. In Game 3, Carolina had more shots in one period than Montreal in the entire game, and in Game 4 they had more shots than Montreal across Games 2, 3, and 4 combined. Carolina, on the other hand, are much fresher, having spent less energy in earlier rounds. Their defense has been excellent, limiting chances and reducing pressure on Frederik Andersen, who already has multiple shutouts in this playoffs. Carolina look physically stronger, more balanced, and better prepared for a long series.
